Hello Parents and Students,

Tonight's Homework is to complete math sheet 4-1 (many students already completed this in class today) and do the nightly homework.

SPECIAL NOTE:  We will NOT be testing this Friday as we normally do.  Ms. Stanberry and I will not be in class on Friday and we would rather be with the students when they are testing.  Instead, we will be giving all tests next week.  Next week is also our first reading and writing benchmark test.  Benchmark tests are given at the end of every reading theme and include passages that are "cold reads", meaning the students have not read the material before.  Benchmark tests are notoriously difficult for the students and grades do tend to drop on them.  We will be giving the reading and writing benchmark tests each day next week.  To help your child do their best you can make sure that they get to bed on time and eat a good breakfast each morning.

Tonight we finally have a mystery word!  The mystery word tonight is "BENCHMARK".  Please write this word in your child's planner.
