Valentine's Day Goodies!

Hello Parents and Students,

Please take a look at our pictures from our cultural day and the 100th day. 

This week we are working on Officer Buckle and Gloria - a great story!  We'll be wrapping up unit 9, patterns, in math.  In language we'll be working on prefixes un, re and dis.  In science we're wrapping up our human body study of bones and in writing we're just starting report writing.

This Wednesday is Wacky Wednesday and early release.  Students will move from one resource to another until after lunch.

Next week is Valentine's Day! We are asking that every student decorate a bag or box to collect their cards in.  Use your imagination!  Please make the boxes NO larger than a shoe box or cereal box. 

Here are the rules:  Send a card for every student (28).  If you send treats, please send enough for all students.  Please do not allow your child to bring a special gift for 1 or 2 students - they can always share those gifts after school.

Reminder:  If your child is using the links section of Mystery Island at home.... YAHOOOO!  Just remind them NOT TO GO ONTO EASY CBM (WALLY) AT HOME.  This is done in class only.
